Finally I purchased the shoes I've always wanted! A pair of brown oxfords! :D Been wanting some brown shoes like these and I am quite happy I have them now. I was close enough to buying them online but I found a Steve Madden store nearby and saved $20 on the purchase. Good thinking!

Yesterday night my roommate made sushi for us for dinner. Turned out delicious, I ate too much though lol. I was supposed to go do homework today but I feel tired. I hate it when I plan a day ahead what I will be doing for the next day and then my plans change all the time. :/ I need to quit being lazy! It's a must!

About my day...&hearts

I decided to join Fight Club yesterday. And no it is not about fighting or anything haha. It's actually a Christian club and we talk about Christ, read a few verses of the bible, sing and play guitar. I am actually Catholic though but I can still join. It is very nice, everyone in there is friendly! I know 5-6 of them already though, including my friend/ roommate Natasha. She's been in the club since her 1st year of college. I hadn't had the chance to join because I used to have class on Fridays during the time they met. I was still hesitating and indecisive whether I should join...yesterday I made my mind and I enjoyed it! I met new people and I am going every Friday now. Fight club is having a Fondue Night next week. It should be fun and everything :)

Other than that, I have a lot of work to do this weekend. Thursday Dreamworks Animation came to visit my school. I went to check it out and get inportant info to get a job there and all. It was very interesting, & I was glad I went because Dreamworks is one of choices in where I would like to work. I have also been thinking of starting a livejournal account. I heard it is old school though haha but I been reading a journal by this very interesting person and I was inspired :p So it is a maybe. Well enjoy your weekend & enjoy these Holga photos by me :)

Old Treasures. My book and vintage key.

Stepping inside a magical place...♥

Now this picture perfectly describes me... I very much wish I was her at the moment, with that quilted blanket, those lovely looking books scattered on my bed, and with a dog just like that to love! And that blanket over her lap grabs my attention too. Now to find myself some blankets like those... :) Isn't this a wonderful photograph? Photos are so great aren't they?


Today I went to the Mission District to check out this Vintage/Antique store I found online. It sounded so wonderful that I just had to go see for myself today! The little shop is called Gypsy Honeymoon....and let me tell you...I fell in love with the place! So many fascinating treasures, old photographs , lace , old keys and chandeliers, and beautiful jewelry! Most of the things I wanted were a little pricey, I loved this Locket necklace I found and an owl brooch. But I did leave the place with a wonderful old book called 'Many Inventions' by Rudyard Kipling published in 1893, it smells so old and nice, the cover is amazing, a beautiful red color with an interesting illustration of a creature, I also got an old looking key, with the letters R & E imprinted on it. To what it unlocks, i do not know...it could be anything! but who knows where the keyhole for it lies... Well I want to go back to the shop again soon! The lady was so nice to me :) I felt so welcomed there and the beautiful music playing there made it more enjoyable as I looked around. I will be going back soon again! I also asked if I could take some photos with the Holga and she said I could , so hopefully the photos come out since it was indoors, because last time my indoor photos came out dark :( But be on the lookout for them once I post them!

Oh I am excited! The Walt Disney Family museum grand opening is on October 1st here in San Francisco, not too far from where I am staying!! I sure want to go check it out, possibly on opening day with my friend & take pictures of the place with my beloved Holga! I just smile thinking about it, especially how I love museums, so much to see & learn in those kind of places! I cannot wait :D There's going to be lots sorts of things! The history, animations, performances & film, art & music, wonderful galleries and so much more!

Tale as old as time...♥

Having watched The Hunchback of NotreDame yesterday, made me want to watch Beauty & the Beast today... I am so glad to be watching these disney movies again, makes me remember when I was a little girl and how I loved watching them, brings back great memories :) Now this movie is my favorite one of all.... Belle is a lovely character, so beautiful and the fact that she loves books, just gets me =] Above is my most favorite scene! lovely, lovely!

Today my day involved around me just doing homework, unable to concentrate on English, but finally able to manage finishing some assignments... I did some laundry and well I didn't too much actually after that. I stayed indoors, too hot outside. I just want the coldness to get here :[ and wear cozy warm sweaters, fuzzy soft scarfs, and pretty coats

After homework, I relaxed on my bed and watched 'The Hunchback of Notredame' How beautiful of a movie! I hadn't seen it in such a long time!! It made me teary eyed at the end....

I slept in very late today :/ I hate that because than I wasted like half of my day =[. My three roommates and I headed for lunch at Tea Garden. I got Curry Chicken Rice and it was actually very good. But I totally loved their bubble tea there! I will be going back often now for the bubble teas! Mmmm :) If anyone stops by SF, go there! I recommend the Tampiocas or bubble teas, however you call them xD Well enjoy the holga photos above, I have many to share but I am posting 2 pictures a day. Have a Fun-tastic weekend everyone!

When all is quiet...♥

I think I am going to stick with Holga from now on (I'm in love with it)....& forget about digital haha. I tried out the double exposure and above are the results :D I like how they turned out, except I got a light leak I suppose because most of all my photos came out with that purple-ish line in the middle..

Surprise...♥

I was surprised today when I checked my e-mail & Flickr to find a message from a lead manager editor of Schamap Los Angeles Guide, telling me that one of my photographs has been chosen to be on their 18th edition of early October 2009. O.O yeah I was surprised to read that possibly one of my photos will be featured!! :O So of course I accepted! It is quite an honor :o. So now it is in the final selection phase with some other photos from other photographers...now all I need to do is wait to be notified if my photo was published. Interesting thing is they chose a photo I snapped with my Holga :D! yay!! And yes, the photo above is the one they chose. I guess they really liked it :p I never thought this would happen....& photography is just my hobby, something I enjoy and have fun doing :)

P.s I developed my roll of film today and got the photos for F r e e!! :D I will be scanning them as soon as I get my hands on a scanner... =_=

Well today I had a good time, while my friend was in class, I went out to take a walk in the city again to take some awesome photographs with my Holga. I had fun with it and I feel pretty happy that my pictures are going to turn out great! Can't wait to share ^-^ I also stopped by H&M, Forever21 and Borders. Got myself some T-shirts, I really needed some. Also I was looking through the magazine section at Borders and found some of my two favorite people on the cover of Marie Claire! :D Drew Barrymore & Ellen Page. So I had to buy it haha, the inside spread is pretty awesome as you can see above, just wanted to share a few pages so you can take a peek :p Their new movie 'Whip It' comes out Oct 2nd I believe. I definitely want to see it.

Meet me at the Equinox...♥

I am so excited about Death Cab for Cutie's new album coming out soon! And their new single 'Meet me at the Equinox' I am liking it & the image for the single cover album as you can see above! I'm just a huge fan, I absolutely love them!! I just keep hearing negative comments from people not liking the fact that their single will be on the New Moon soundtrack, because they say they don't like the movie....what the hell...they haven't even seen the movie! I think it is great DCFC's song got chosen. Their music is great and beautiful!

A girl who you hardly see with a dress on...♥

I don't really do outfit posts, but here I wanted to share with you this dress I am wearing that my friend & I thrifted. My friend actually found it and told me it'll look pretty on me. I decided to buy it since I want to start wearing dresses now & then. So I wore this outfit yesterday to class :D it's a very soft/warm dress and I like its print too! What do you guys think? :O

Patience is all that matters...♥

Sorry for not posting last couple days. Been so busy & i needed to rest. Yesterday roommates & I had to go do grocery shopping at chinatown and other markets for good fresh fruits and vegatables and other things we needed in the kitchen :) We came back exhausted however after carrying back all the heavy grocery bags! But at least we have food now!

Today I just went to do homework early and after that I met with my friend Tasha and we headed to Haight to check out the thrift shops! I found that vintage brown leather backpack I always wanted! I been always trying to look for one but never did find one. And now that I went without even looking for one , i find it! It pays off being patient! Eventually you'll get something you've been wanting for so long! I love the bag! I am going to use it for class tomorrow! :)

Also my friend found this pretty dress for me. It is very soft and nice! I am thinking if I should wear it to class tomorrow but I am quite indecisive since I am not really used to wearing dresses. I also got myself a book called 'The Lovely Bones' by Alice Sebold. I also can't wait for the movie :) Well thrift stores are great! You never know what interesting things you may find!

arrives today! :) along with her boyfriend helping her with the luggage ahaha! but I am going to help her with the luggage too. Just need to wait for her to call/text. ^_^ i can't wait to see her & give her a big hug! Feels like forever even though we last saw each other in May before summer started. Can't wait to start a new adventure in San Francisco with her! I already have planned out we should go eat at In-n-Out. Those burgers are just sooooo good. I am craving one! hehe
