i'm pretty content right now even though things haven't been so easy for me lately

i miss blogging. i should start doing this often again
but I am thinking of starting fresh with a whole new one.

I finally went to see the last Harry Potter movie. It was amazing but also emotional because that was the end. I grew up reading Harry Potter since I was 11 and enjoyed watching every movie. It has been an incredible 10 years of Harry Potter and I'm so sad its over but the books and movies are still alive and I can just keep on reading them or watching. This weekend it feels its going to be a long sad one. Boyfriend went home for the weekend and I miss him so much already. He'll be back Monday night but i still feel its a long time from now :/ I don't know what to do these days...may just spent my time watercolouring, reading, sleeping a lot and watching Mad Men and movies on Netflix to have time go by. Anyways hope you have a good weekend :)

Lately I been watching Mad Men. Its a really good show, i love that it takes place in the 60s. Currently on season 3. The book I been currently reading is Shanghai Girls. I have now started school again today with just 3 classes this Fall semester :) I have always taken 5 and been so busy so I feel like this semester will be much more less stressful. Classes this semester I have is Intro to Animal Drawing & Anatomy, History of American Illustration and Printmaking which I am so excited for. That class will be something new :) I am also looking for a job, actually already had an interview but I am currently waiting to be called in for a second interview but so far nothing so I need to find other places to apply to just in case. So yeah just waiting for love to get home from school and we going to eat pizza for dinner. Seriously we seem to be eating pizza a lot! Gotta control that haha.

Santa Cruz

Some pictures of my trip to Santa Cruz around mid-May. My love and his best friend took me there when they found out I hadn't ever been there. It was a lot of fun. A bit similar to Santa Monica Pier just a bit bigger with more rides, food stands, and more people. I had a great time! We went bowling, played laser tag, arcade games, ate some good food and rode a roller coaster. I took two cameras, these pictures are taken from my Promaster film camera, and also took photos with my holga but sadly none of the photos came out :( Seems like i placed my roll of film inside unproperly :/ boo.

It's funny everytime i have my hair short I am wishing it is longer....and now that my hair is long I am wishing it is short -__- I was going to go get it cut today but I ran out of time doing other errands so I shall go tomorrow in the morning. I know a place where it is inexpensive but the lady there is really nice and cuts hair very well. Also change is good once in a while :) Again another hot day in the city. I did some shopping, only ended up buying one piece of clothing though -_- and also got free frozen yogurt :D MMmm! Tomorrow my bf returns from his trip in Washington D.C. He's lucky to have gone there to visit! But I am very excited to see him again :) Pictures above is me and my ex-roommate Crystal dancing. Yes i moved and found a room for rent for cheap , so I finally have a room of my own. But there's some great memories I had with her that I won't ever forget.

Summer in San Francisco

i am sorry i havent posted in so long! I know most bloggers always say this when they are gone for a good amount of time. There's always the excuse of school, or being too busy with work and etc but it really is true! :O Summer seems like it has arrived! Though tomorrow is actually first day of summer I believe. San Francisco was boiling hot today with 84 degrees Fahrenheit! I pretty much stayed indoors with all my windows of my room open to let some fresh breeze in. Was planning on going out and ride my bike to a coffee shop to use internet because my internet at home is pretty crappy right now. But my plan didn't go as I wanted cuz i got a little sick today. bummer :/ Well I have a week left to enjoy summer in San Francisco and then I'll be enjoying the rest of my summer at home in L.A. Looking forward to seeing my parents who I haven't seen since January, to go to farmer's markets, to my favorite beach location which is Venice beach and Santa Monica, to ride my bike, play video games and just relax as much as I can before school once again starts up. I have some pictures to share with you guys, which I'll be doing soon hopefully. I also need to catch up to every blog I follow! Much love :)

And well that's my room :) I been blue lately, guy i really liked and who I had fun hanging out with for 2 weeks has suddenly stopped texting me or wanting to see me. I hate this whole ignoring a person thing. Its very immature. i hate it. very.very. much. We been hanging out a lot and I have been modeling for him lately for some of his photography ideas of his own and for his homework assignments. I think he is amazing. So I am sitting at a cafe at the moment, been here all afternoon. I usually dont do this too often of going to cafes, ordering a drink or a sandwich and sit down for a good while but now I have done this a couple of times and I am loving it. A good way to escape home for a bit and just relax and have time for yourself. I been really at peace here, mostly drawing which is something I been needing to do more and I have created some interesting drawings. I am drawing a girl with butterflies in her hair, and it is coming along great :) But seriously, cafes are so relaxing. Well I have some photos to share. Enjoy!

...so i been gone for a month! Wow! i seriously didn't have much to post and well I guess I decided to take a break :) But I am back with some photos and some things i been up to lately! I know i am late but Happy 2011! :D I had a great holiday but now I am back in San Francisco since 2 weeks ago at my new place with my roommate Crystal! We have been blog friends and now we are roommates! I think its amazing and we share a room and get along so well because we have a lot in common. We have had a blast so far and our room is lovely :) The weather here has been great too! We been going to Bernal Heights park where you climb to the very top and you can see an amazing view of the city! We been going to a lot of shops here on Valencia St. & we have so many other things we want to do and check out and some photoshoots too :D Well I start school this Monday , I am excited but nervous but a little sad too because my winter break is coming to an end. I hope to do really well this semester! Need to work hard. Well Ive posted some pictures above and will post more in my next post so stay tuned ;)

Merry Christmas all!! I wish you a most beautiful day along with your family & friends. Mines was a good one :) Delicious tamales made by mom, ponche, our traditional holiday drink , & i made rice krispy treats with sprinkles. We opened our presents at midnight, went to bed at 1 in the morning, parents are still in bed right now haha and it is almost noon :p but later more tamales, some board games and music :) and just plain relax. I love Christmas. And tomorrow we going out to eat for my birthday dinner. Also my dad's birthday because we both have the same birthdays! My birthday is actually on the 28th but we going to celebrate it tomorrow because we can't on Tuesday since both my parents work, so tomorrow is perfect. Can't wait =] Well enjoy the rest of your Christmas day!

I had the best day this Saturday when Natasha came to visit from washington state. I hadn't seen her since the summer and she couldnt make it back to school this semester leaving me utterly sad to not have my awesome friend around anymore. I'm so glad to have seen her and we had such a great time together. We went to Amici's East coast pizzeria for some pizza followed by going to the thrift shop. I bought a cute santa mug! and a cozy soft yellow and white striped sweater :) We then headed to the beach near fisherman's wharf and took pictures ^_^ we had some fun being "models" lol. We had ice cream at Coldstone and to finish our fun day we went inside the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum which was hella fun and interesting! I loved the Mirror maze, it was so trippy and crazy, we danced a lot in a big kaleidoscope they had there because there was music :p also at the very end we danced some more where they had screens with special effects so we even made our own cool music videos. Being with her again reminded me of old times. How we'll explore the city and do things together. i really miss that :/ I stayed over with her at the motel she was staying so we could spent more time together, we relaxed in our pjs watching music videos, looking at pictures and facebooking haha. In the morning we had breakfast at Denny's and then the sad part came where we had to say goodbye :( I hope to see her again soon! She said she'll visit again and I'm really looking forward to that. I love my friend. ♥ Finding good friends can be rare.

Happy belated Thanksgiving! I made it home for the holiday! Flew home at the very day of Thanksgiving. I liked it because I got to see many people heading home for the holiday, and being welcomed by their family when they're being picked up from the airport. :) I had such a fun day at home with my mom and dad. We played games and laughed a lot and ate good delicious food for dinner! Yum! We had quails that tasted so delicious! Dad is such a fascinating cook! along with yams, mash potatoes, gravy and stuffing and garlic bread. I brought home the pie which was an apple cranberry crumb pie. It was very good! Everything was. =] Im happy to be home even though its only for 4 days but now I cant wait for winter break and Christmas holiday. How was everyones Thanksgiving? I hope you had a great one too!

This camera will soon be in my hands! :D im excited because I been looking for another film camera to play with besides my Holga 135bc camera and it happens that my friend Ed has had this promaster 2500pk super film camera and he never has used it. So he asked me if I would be interested in buying it because he wants to get rid of it. I of course totally want it! I see it is originally around $150 or so but he's giving it to me for $50 , not too bad. Maybe I can get him to lower the price :p haha but seriously once I have this camera I feel I would once again be inspired to take photography! funnn! :D

I cannot wait for Thanksgiving. I get to go home to the hood haha and see my parents and eat real food at last! oh yeah. I have plans on getting a ukulele soon but I just promised myself I wouldnt be buying things I truly don't need. But sometimes I have the urge to buy new clothes or anything that gets my attention but really now, i need to spend less and save more right now. Im so glad I have a job though. Its going very well and I get along with several of my co workers :) Its a friendly team. I am still currently reading 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' but I am almost done! I saw the movie last night and it was A W E S O M E ! well i cant wait to finish the book now so I can finally start a new one. Oh I cant wait for my hair to grow more. I have those days when i feel like a mess and ugly. I hate having bad hair days haha. Sometimes I want to have a boyfriend, sometimes I'm just okay about being single, but having one would be really nice though. I hate having feelings for someone who don't have them back for me. I have a type im really attracted to which would be someone who loves to read, handsome, dresses nice, wears glasses, has great taste in music, smart and of course has a sweet personality. Curly hair is another thing I love :] I always wonder when & where I'll find this person. Just a matter of time & patience right? Ugh lately I wish I didn't have homework, I really want like a week off to relax, drink tea, watch tv, sleep in, read books and chill. So glad the holidays are coming soon though :3 Turkey day, Christmas, my birthday and a brand new year =]

A dancing dream

my heart has been telling me this is what i'm to do.. its been telling me for years now. To be a dancer and a contemporary dancer I want to be. I've always wanted to somehow be a performer through the art of dancing since middle school. I never had the guidance or support though. I would just sit at home and admire dancers on those dancing shows. I was always inspired! Contemporary dance has my complete attention... its what i want to learn to do. I really do. My plan was to take beginning contemporary dance this fall but school keeps getting in the way. And now I have work. Unless I can get Saturdays off in which its the day that dance class is available. First class is free and if I like it than I shall go back. :] I just want to do something that'll make me happy. Dance is such a beautiful way of showing expression and creating art through the movements of the body. I just want to go for it! I dont want to hold myself back anymore. I want to get lost in the music through dance. Its just perfect.

I hadn't been at Ocean Beach for about two years until last week. My work had a team build in which we had to go clean the beach for a few hours then followed by a party at the Golden Gate Park in which we all had a good time. Seriously, you never know what you are going to get when you use a film camera instead of a digital..let me say..this time all my photos had light leaks and one of the photos above, well it seems to be 2 pics in 1 combined, which I think its pretty cool. Gosh I'm exhausted... my roommates and I went to a Halloween store tonight to search for a costume... i almost bought this snow white costume that looked nice on me .. I sorta did look like snow white :D but gosh...do all women costumes have to be slutty? what happened ? -_- seriously...most of the dresses just barely covers your butt... But actually since I'm short, they are pretty much an okay length for me. Well i didn't end up buying one because they're too damn pricey $$ but i think I'm going to go back just to get me a witch hat and some green and black striped socks and be a witch for Halloween :D , sounds perfect for me.

Can I please have them all? gosh i go crazy for owls. well not crazy crazy but you know what I mean...i just absolutely love them! ♥ Aren't they great? haha I can't resist but buy anything that has an owl on it, plates, rings, anything as long as it is an owl. I'm sorta starting an owl collection. The person with everything shown in the photo is one lucky person :p Well today i finally got to go out and take my Holga out to play and a roll of film has been used up! I'll be picking up the developed photos tomorrow and Im soooo anxious to see! It's been a while since i dropped off a roll of film. It's just too exciting because I never know what I'm gonna get. Its always a surprise. I did a lot of walking today though when i went to take photographs at North Beach, San Francisco. I probably walked like 2 and a half hours! quite a workout I must say :o I decided to stop by the art store and look around. I haven't been creative lately, of course the blame goes to homework!! But I really want to draw, color & paint with watercolors again! I did it a lot when I was a kid, all i would do was draw and watercolor even though it wasn't perfect but it made me happy. Since this school year started I been meaning to start a blog just for my art such as sketches and schoolwork to share with you all. I'm gonna find the time to make one because I really wanna do it. Well I gotta get me some sleep! It's actually 5 minutes to 3 o'clock in the morning... i'm surprised i'm not sleepy because I'm usually a very sleepy girl lol.

Photography. I love how there is so much talent out there and how we learn a little about the person through what they create, whether by canvas, paintbrushes, pencil or camera. Art is just absolutely amazing because of the endless possibilities one can create. Doesn't matter what you make as long as it makes one happy right? ;) I am kinda dyin over here about the fact I haven't been much of a photographer lately. It makes me sad and i really just want to forget about homework and not even bother doing it and go out and explore the city and snap photos! But it is midterms and doing that would be a bad idea if I don't want to end up getting bad grades.

Above are some photographs I found and loved through my browsing on Flickr. I'm sure you'll enjoy. Photographs really do make me happy. Along with reading books which I haven't been doing a lot either :/

Blog Feature : Journey of the Old Light

So i've decided to make my very first blog feature :D I have a very awesome friend from the same hometown as me and we've been real good friends since I moved up here to San Francisco. His is a very talented creative artist. I kinda envy his talent ;) but in a good way... hehe. His illustrations are quite inspiring and his preferred medium to create his artwork is watercolor. He attends the same art school as me, AAU, as an illustrator major and I'll say he is gonna get very far with that talent he has going on! Here are some examples of his masterpieces that are some of my favorites!

I think it would be absolutely wonderful if you can head on over to his blog, Journey of the Old Light and give him some support! He'll appreciate it very much and he's also such a friendly person! So follow his blog so he'll have more motivation to post more often too :p I know you guys like art.

A blog meet-up and new hair ...♥

I've decided today to go get bangs again! Exactly a year ago i got them and now I got them again in the same month haha. I really needed a change and I actually sorta missed having bangs and now I feel happy to have made this decision. I like my new hair right now :) New hair and new job which I start tomorrow! I'm nervous but excited at the same time! I feel that things are becoming good for me now and I hope it stays this way :) I also got to have a blog meet up with Crystal, from Powder Blue, yesterday. It was so wonderful to have met her in person, she's sooo sweet and lovely and beautiful! Two of her friends were with her so I got to meet them too and they as well were such great friendly people! I absolutely had a wonderful time with them. We had late lunch at Cafe Mason and then we walked to Urban Outfitters and then on an adventure to the Mission District. Browsed in thrift shops and a bookstore and took some pictures. We ended the day at another cafe and then sadly it was time for goodbye. Hopefully Crystal and I will hang out more once she moves to this wonderful city of San Francisco :) I will post pictures of the blog meet up as soon as I get them =]

Time for new clothes! I really need some! :O
so I'm going shopping tomorrow, gonna try to find
nice clothing that will grab my eye and that won't
be too expensive... i plan to spend only a certain amount.
Also gonna look for clothes a little similar to Zooey's. I really
need a good nice wardrobe change , if you look at my closet
it is so boring and uninspiring! Even when I look at it
it makes me kind of depressed haha! Not much color or
fun patterns to tell you the truth. And with what I have
it is actually pretty hard to put together a nice outfit. Gosh
I don't know how these girls do it with their fashion blogs
and all their outfit posts... hmmm. Wish me luck! :D

back to school, thrift shops and hair problems ...♥

Had two classes today! One I just added today and it was right after the first one ended! I had to hurry and get some papers signed for the class! ahh so I was running back & forth but I'm glad to have made the decision of dropping the class i was gonna have tomorrow with this horrible lame teacher and replacing it with Adv. Modeling / Textures in which we use this different 3D software called Modo! I'm excited to get to learn this new software :D Hope all goes well! The teacher seems real cool too. Also sometimes its hard to follow along when the instructor sometimes goes a little too fast... but I try to hang in there! Well on Labor day.. which was yesterday of course I headed to Buffalo Exchange in the Mission District to sell some clothes! I took two bags and from all I took..they only bought from me 5 pieces for $20... i was hoping they would buy more so I wouldnt have to carry the heavy bags back -_- lol. Also browsed through their selction of thrift clothes... i really dont have any luck when it comes to clothes gahhhh! help me. :( I just scored a pair of high waisted floral shorts and that's it.. really need clothes for school though... I'll try again next time..hopefully with better luck?
Well here's my latest picture! I got this new tea called Honey Vanilla Chamomile tea and it is soooo good. :D Also this hair of mine has to hurry up and grow again. I really regret cutting it to my shoulders :( I cant do much with my hair. Also thinking of getting blunt bangs by cutting it myself.... but hmmm.... I dont think that would be such a great idea... haha i could ruin my hair even worse! :O Has anyone attempted cutting your hair yourselves?

Over the summer I had a fun day going here with my high school best friend. Its our favorite place to go have fun. Rode those extreme rollercoasters! My favorite being Goliath of course. Took a picture as we were going up...but I also took one as we were going down! wooooo! but sadly it seems it didn't come out when the roll got developed :/ Oh wells. Well today was my back to school day! Had a class in the afternoon called The Power of Myth and Symbol and its such an interesting class! The instructor keeps it entertaining and not boring and I just couldn't stop laughing on certain funny things he would say! Looking forward to learning more about Myths, Legends, Folklore and Fairytales. :D I'm also taking a French class online. I only know about 5 french words and it would be great to expland my knowledge in this language. We'll see how that goes! My next class isn't until Tuesday and I'm trying to change my weds class to online because my on campus class is being taught by the worst lame teacher ever! I've had him before and no way do I want him to teach a class of mine again!! Arghh and the only other option for the class is online so I would prefer that.. than seeing his ugly face. Yesterday I went thrift shopping trying to look for some clothes for back to school. No luck whatsoever! Only got a dress I liked and an owl ring but thats it. I don't know how some girls have such luck in finding great clothes at thrift shops. It seems I am horrible at it :( I wish I could just have Zooey Deschanel's closet! I love her sense of style and would love to dress like her! So simple yet beautiful :)

These are some photographs I took of Hollywood with my Holga film camera over the summer. Just recently got them developed :) I have to say..looking back...my summer turned out wonderful and am so happy about it because I really thought I was gonna have a boring summer but I was wrong :) Back to school tomorrow! Kinda excited about classes ... I have an inner nerd in me 8) well i actually don't have class on Thursday but on Fridays so i still get to relax tomorrow while others go to class tomorrow hahaha. The other days I have class is Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And I might have a little part time job too! I just got back from an interview at Whole Foods Market for the cashier position. :D Interview went very well and I have a good feeling that I might just get it. *fingers crossed* A job would turn out to be helpful...everything is money money money :/ and school can be expensive. So i really want to save up and also help out my parents. Well I can't believe it is sooooo hot here in San Francisco today :/ yikes! Im indoors where the temperature is a little cool and am about to relax with a good movie on netflix.

I have suddenly been really wanting to go on a roadtrip around the United States with an RV and explore the country, stopping at states , exploring and take lots and lots of photographs! Doesn't it sound great? I would really love to make this one wish/ dream come true. I've told my parents about it and of course they will come along too and I think they liked the idea! I just love to travel and sight see places than just California, I just can't really be in the same place for so long , I feel I just have to go out and explore because I only have one lifetime and I want to make it the best I can. I don't want to be stuck in just one place for the rest of my life. Well I certainly would have to find me an RV or something and that just means I have to save up. Gosh I have so many dreams I want to make come true sometimes I feel they won't but I got to think positive and work hard for them. I feel I am still trying to find myself, find my purpose in life in what I should be doing, finding that one thing that is going to make me happy. Do any of you have a dream you would love to make come true? Do share :)

I remember mentioning the fact that my very good friend from college, Natasha (a.k.a) my roommate since freshmen year, might not return to school this year and sadly i got the bad news this morning that she unfortunately cannot make it back. She tried the best she could to work things out but it didn't turn out that way. It left me terribly sad knowing that I won't see her until who knows when. She's from Washington state and here I live in California. I definitely need to go visit her one day when I have some money. I 'm going to miss her tremendously this school year. We share things together, we talk about our day and hang out. We go grocery shopping, thrifting and enjoy watching television shows online ... now with her absence I'm gonna feel lonely. With 2 new roommates I don't know yet. It's crazy how things in life can turn out. Not always the way one wants it to be. Just got to be prepared what it throws at you and be strong and continue on. All I can do is work as hard as I can this school year! I got this. My goal is to show much improvement because I know I have potential to be an awesome 3D modeler and I don't care though if I don't end up as great as the others as long as I can get a job at a decent small place and from there I can always make my way up. :] Well I have a week left before I leave my home.. as much as I love San Francisco, I am not really looking forward to returning knowing that my friend will not be there with me. But I got to finish school and make my parents proud. So one week... to enjoy home, be with my parents , eat homecooked food and sleep in and then I got to start packing and say farewell :[ but im looking forward to my classes, I'm taking Modeling Studio, Head Sculpting & Facial Expressions, Power of Myth & Symbol and beginning French. Excuse my long post, hope I didn't bore you or maybe I did and the the rest was left unread haha but for those who read it all thanks :]

I just got done watching this film. I had never seen it before except the first 20 minutes or so but I never got to finish watching it but I really loved the movie. It was absolutely touching and best quoted film. I must have cried like 5 or 6 times...I felt it being quite inspirational. I'm glad I finally got a chance to watch it. :] Have a great weekend!

I'm going to miss my sundays at my hometown area.
Yesterday consisted of going to the:
* Farmer's Market, getting fresh organic fruits, eating roasted corn, listening to a live jazz band
*Green grass and laying in the sun at Santa Monica beach
* people watching as they pass by on their bicycles
*recording videos & listening to my jams on my ipod
*and planning to go back next weekend with my bike this time
Santa Monica is so lively and fun. I would love to own a home there somewhere and be able to bike ride all the time or be in walking distance of the beach.

Six Flags Magic Mountain ...♥

My friend and I had a really great time together. The park was very full and the lines very long with long waits but it was worth it. We got on some of the best ones such as Goliath which is one of my favorite roller coasters, and Tatsu and The Riddler's Revenge. I finally got to try the delicious funnel cake topped with strawberries. yummy! It was very warm in Valencia, Ca. Around the 80s but it still felt pretty good. I am so glad to have spent some time with my bestie. She's a really great person and never fails to make me laugh and make me feel happy. We're planning our next fun trip to Disney California Adventures later this month but it is not certain. Hopefully we do get to go because I haven't been there since 8th grade! I've finished another roll of film on my holga :D I just have to drop it off to get them developed. Pretty excited to see the results of the photos I took at Hollywood, Six Flags and Marina del Rey. Can you believe it is already August? geeeeez!

This summer hasn't been at all bad as I thought it was going to be. I've done quite a lot of fun things with my parents and a few friends. Can't complain and our southern California weather hasn't been extremely hot either like our past summers. I'm glad because I prefer a warmth that

I can take instead of intense heat that makes me feel I'm melting. But I have to say I can't wait for Autumn to get here. My favorite season where i can wear my scarfs, warm colors and go thrifting around San Francisco :D I'm also excited for my last year in college, i think haha and going to try and get a job this time at a Dog Groom place because I love dogs and I would be so happy to work at a place where I get to interact with cute doggies! I found a place right close to my dorm and it would be perfect if they hire me! One thing though I am not looking forward is the fact that my friend/roommate since my freshmen year of college may not be able to come back for school this year. I'm praying things work out for her so she can come back! If not I will be so very heart broken and sad not having her around :[ She's my only closest friend I got in San Francisco. But I have a feeling she will work things out. I can't believe I have exactly one month left at home! Now I'm starting to feel a bit sad. :/ Summer just flies by so fast! So I got to enjoy these last few weeks at home before I fly back up to the bay area. Which reminds me, need to purchase a plane ticket soon :O Almost forgot , last summer my goal was to learn the guitar but I never got to it because of my laziness but this summer I have been practicing and am getting a little better, not good yet but I can play a few chords now :D I just got to practice practice a lot now to improve my playing. It's an awesome instrument. Am in love with the acoustic sound. :)

Here's my photos I've taken of the concert. See the person with the teal dress? Thats Zooey! She looked absolutely beautiful! and it's the closest I could take with my little digital camera, if i zoomed in more my photos got too blurry :/ Bummer. But I'm happy. I was pretty far away but all that matters I was present to experience such a beautiful concert. My view was good I got to see the Hollywood sign from my seat haha & that's a friend of mine I went with. We had some wine during the performances and the music really relaxing and peaceful.

I saw Swell Season at the concert on Sunday and totally fell in love with them and their music! They were unbelievably amazing and can't stop listening to their songs! This one is a favorite of mine and when my friend told me they have a movie called 'Once' I immediately said I got to watch it! I really want to buy the movie and soundtrack. Heard so many great things about the movie. It's definitely on my wishlist :)

Sunday before the concert, friend and I walked around Hollywood Blvd looking down at the stars and browsing through cool shops and had Floats at the Disney Store. We looked around in front of the Chinese temple and saw the famous peoples' hand prints and footprints. It was so full of people and such a hot day but I really enjoyed it and got to take a few photos and even a photo of a star with my name ;) I'm famous lol.

More film photos from Venice Beach, California! Well I haven't really been to the beach since then which was in early June because it doesn't seem like it is summer over here! It's always gloomy, cloudy in the mornings and afternoons. Oh well. I just want Fall to get here really. It is my favorite weather because of the cozy warm clothes I get to wear :D Anyways I need to continue studying this Driver's Handbook but it is boring -_- I really want to accomplish one of my goals of getting my driver's license this summer! I am also excited for July 18th to get here! I 'll be going to a concert and see/hear She& Him live! it is going to be awesomeeeeee :D Ok so I finally finished that last book I was reading and started reading Hotel Iris by Yoko Ogawa which I finished on Wednesday haha so now I'm reading Snow Falling on Cedar. Does anyone watch the show So You Think You Can Dance? I love that show! Watching them dance is so inspiring and it makes me want to go out and take dance lessons and tryout for the show one day! haha who knows? I might make it one day ;) I would really really want to. I can dream right? It is just gonna take a lot of dedication though but I am being serious and this September hopefully I am going to start dance lessons and learn Jazz or Contemporary in San Francisco. I feel really happy whenever I just dance in my living room. It brings me a sense of peace. I been wanting to be a cool dancer since middle school. I think its time to try out for this dream...

How was everyone's holiday? For those who are in America? :) Independence Day came and went! I am starting to feel a tad bit afraid of time. It just passes on by so quickly and I often lose track of it and never have enough time to do everything I would want to do :/ Sometimes I worry about the future, of whats to come... what is waiting for me up ahead? All I can dream of and hope for is that it will be something wonderful and that I will be happy. Happiness is all that matters for me. Well the fourth of July was interesting. I bought some sparklers for the night and dad cooked 2 kinds of delicious enchiladas and like I mentioned , I made rice crispy treats and they were very good :D We had family visit, and we enjoyed the fireworks from our apartment view since we live upstairs but we also went outside to enjoy it better and use those sparklers. I took some photos but my digital camera is so retarded though... but at least some good photos came out. I wish I had the money to buy a good camera like a Nikon rebel or something like that... California weather is being dumb...it is July but June Gloom is still going on over here... but I must say I am kinda relieved because I hate the high temperatures... it gets me in a quite bad mood.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend everyone! I plan making some delicious Rice Crispy treats for the holiday and hopefully we go to the beach and the air market tomorrow for some delicious roasted corn but mom is sick right now, please hope she gets well soon! Ahh yesterday I had the chance to go to the movies with my bestie from high school and we went to see Eclipse. hmm i would totally choose Jacob over Edward...but oh well...Bella is dumb -_- haha but it is just a movie so yeah! Well I'm off to a baby shower tonight! My very first one actually but I heard they are pretty fun with the games they have and all. So far my summer is very chill! I am still reading ' The Wind-up Bird Chronicle' and I have no idea why I read so slow now! arghh but actually I don't spend as much time reading as I would want because I end up doing some other things like computer games and tv...oh and my summer classes! But I am almost done with the book so I can move along with another one :)

1. I love the time I have to be able to read my books.
2. I love being able to sleep in.
3. I love going bike riding near the beach
4. I love the fresh cool breeze I feel through the window.
5. I love playing my games on my nintendo DS such as Kingdom Hearts.

1. I'll love to be able to know how to play the acoustic guitar by the end of the summer.
2. I'll love to go to a water park.
3. I'll love to get done with my summer classes successfully.
4. I'll love to keep eating fresh juicy fruits like mangoes and oranges.
5. I'll love to go swimming but before that.. need to learn how to swim.

Isnt the dog in the second picture so cool with its sunglasses?! haha i just had to take his picture! and he rocked the photo. I love to bike ride and I been needing to get myself a new bike because the one I had before was too small lol so last week I went bicycle shopping with dad in search for my perfect bike. I ended up buying this awesome beach cruiser bike in mint green and a white basket for it :) I havent taken the picture of my bike yet to show you guys but I just noticed that in the 3rd picture above you can see it right there!! You see the 2 bicyclists in the front? My bike looks just like the one on the right of the photo! :D Tomorrow I'm going to the beach to bike ride! Its my favorite thing to do in the summer

Excited to know that the fifa world cup 2010 starts tomorrow! Soccer has been a part of my life since i was a kid, from playing it in elementary school to watching it at home, The World Cup is just something exciting and fun to watch. Rooting for the Hispanic countries!Brazil, Honduras, Paraguay, Chile,Uruguay and USA Wooooo! Above is the official song by Shakira. Her performance was amazing on tv which I just got done watching. So festive and full of cheerful fans anxious for the games to start, cant wait. Sorry for my sports ranting, not sure anyone else is a soccer/sports fan. If you are, who you rooting for? :D

I've gotten my photos today and cant be any happier! i just love them, what an amazing camera holga is and how amazing film is too! That second photo turned out to be an accident, but the results is awesome. i love that double exposure so very much. Hope you enjoy these and there will be more to come of course! Also I am planning on having a giveaway of one of my holga photographs , just getting that organized first so stay tuned! Been thinking, how does it sound if i open a shop on etsy or somewhere with my photographs? Think that'll be a good idea? Would you be interested in buying? A beautiful day at venice beach...♥

The weather was absolutely perfect here in southern cali yesterday. Parents and I took off to Venice Beach in where we had a good time and relaxed so peacefully. There was also so much to see and I am satisfied that I got to finish my roll of film there. Now to get those photos developed soon! We went to an air market or open market..however you say it haha and there was so much delicious fruits, and veggies as well as flowers and food to eat! I got a delicious roasted corn and it was very worth it. yum! We were at Venice a good 7 hours and I bought myself a souvenir, its a cute little handmade monster that one of the artists' there made and it is now hanging with my njntendo DS. I named him Mr. Freckle! I shall take a pic of it and show you guys :D

California weather can be so crazy! It can never seem to make up its mind. Its a never ending mood change here, like how a smile can easily become a frown and a clear blue sky be quickly filled with the gloomiest gray shadowing our homes as we look up for a hope of the brightest ray from the sun to fill us deeply in our hearts and bring a forecast of smiles ahead. Last week it was extremely windy, as if a hurricane were on its way, hopefully tomorrow it stays warm and calm like today so I can go to the beach again and fully enjoy it and take pictures! I am anxious to drop off a roll of film! I've applied to three Barnes & Noble Booksellers for a job and I am hoping with all my heart they call me so I can keep myself busy with something this summer plus I will be extremely happy to work with what I love most, Books! ♥ I got my hair cut yesterday by my mom and my hair is now in layers and I feel so much better and happy! Indeed a haircut is so much like a garden in need of repair, after a cut it grows to be beautiful and healthy. Today has consisted of Heroes marathon. I'm watching season 2 on netflix. What a great show! Now I think I will have a good read with a good book and maybe some drawing and video games later :)

I can't believe it's been a year since I started this little blog of mine :) I actually missed the actual day of the blog anniversary which was May 26th haha so I am two days late. I am so happy to have started my blog as A Star of Love and as you have noticed my new blog title is Soft Raindrop :) I like change, sometimes I find it necessary for I get tired of seeing the same old thing haha. I've already gotten some positive feedback on the new blog name and I for sure am very happy and satisfied with it. I would like to thank all my readers for following, for reading my little posts and admiring my photographs I have taken this past year and for your wonderful positive comments. Distractions and peace...♥

It is good to be home! My own room , my own bed. It is so wonderfully relaxing not having to worry about homework and studying anymore! My brain is stress free! Well sort of. I been going through a tough kind of depressing state these past few weeks but I am working hard to leave it all behind me, to forget about it and just move on. My heart is strong and it is healing, slowly. I am still young and there is so much ahead waiting to happen for me. I hope all good things, I despise feeling sad so very much. Now that it is summer, I want to try doing as much things possible to distract me and keep me busy. I am thinking of a summer job somewhere .. I have only 3 places in which I would like to apply but I am just hoping one of them hire me. I am also planning on drawing a lot more this summer, I need to practice drawing the human figure because I am terribly bad at that. Also plan on taking more film photographs and I actually already started on that yesterday when I went to Venice Beach =]. Lets see theres more I want to do but don't know what. Anyone have ideas? What do you guys do when you have so much time on your hands in the summer? My summer is 3 months and 2 weeks long....

Good news! I am going to see She & Him this summer! I got a friend to come along with me, she started to listen to their music and now she is excited to go! I am so happy that I will be going to see and hear them sing live :D So I can't wait for July, it's gonna be the best part of my summer hehe ^_^ Oh and I am done with finals! I just have 1 class to go to tomorrow, seems pointless because we dont have homework to turn in or anything because we turned it in last week but if i miss class my grade points may be lowered. Bummer :/ After class tomorrow my roommates and I gonna celebrate a bit, have some fun and drinks and just be happy that we survived another college school year of hectic work! hehe :) and then it'll be goodbyes on saturday :( and we all go our different directions and head on home.

Me with pandas somewhere in San Francisco :) gosh i love this city so much! I have a week left here, i want to get all my work/finals done by Monday at least so I can relax, have fun with my roommates and start packing on my last week. I'm also feeling a little better... , She & Him album Volume 2 has really been cheering me up... the songs fit perfectly of what I am going through which is so amazing and wierd but lovely because Zooey is singing and gosh how I love M.Ward too hehe. They make an amazing band, i just wished I could have been able to buy a ticket to one of their concerts but they're sold out :/ Today I walked to the music store and on the way I bumbed into a friend I hadnt seen since the beginning of the semester! so it was nice catching up on things and she accompanied me to the music store. I went to buy the Volume 1 of She& Him so I could have both albums =D ha! Now I am satisfied. oh oh I been watching Heroes! Season 1 & its awesome! and I am currently reading a book called The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I had read this book about a year ago but I remember I didn't quite pay fully attention to it so I gave it another chance this time. Hasn't that happened to you? when u read and when you get done reading lets say a page...you ask yourself...what did I just read..? Cause you weren't paying attention...lol. Its wierd xD So I have to start over and read it again lol

I am feeling a bit better now. Staying strong and well life just keeps going and better things are waiting ahead for me hopefully. I am now trying to stay focused especially now that I have finals. Which is a reason why I havent posted photos and such :/ Sorry to one of my favorite bloggers and follower from One of those things! I will be back soon :) Don't worry. I am excited to get back to being behind the lens and searching for the perfect spots to snap a photo with my film camera ^_^ I already have my next photoshoot set which hopefully will be next Sunday when I'll be home! Mothers Day ...♥

Happy Mother's day! I miss my mom very much but it is just two more weeks until I am home again for the summer! I can't wait. I'm really missing home right now...I think I am even feeling a little homesick which is weird because I been living away from home for 3 years... Well for Mother's Day I send my mom some beautiful flowers, of course not as beautiful as her hehe but she recieved them on Friday and was jumping in joy with happy tears in her eyes to see the flower delivery being from me. I was happy and excited myself :) It was great. She loved them very much. I hope she has a wonderful day today with my dad ^_^

I haven't been blogging for so long it feels. I also haven't been taking any photography lately, I feel like there isn't anything new to take pictures of here. I practically explored the whole city and have taken photos of almost every district there is here. haha. In the summer I'll be taking photos with Holga I am sure so instead of boring you with the same old San Francisco photos I'm sure you've had enough of, I'll be sharing photos of my hometown area and L.A area like the beaches, parks and etc :) I just can't wait to go home!! I am wishing these 2 weeks fly by so quickly! please please~! ♥

I cried and cried afterwards. Such a sad haunting movie. Left me thinking of the cruelty and the people who had no hearts to do such a thing in WWII. so evil. makes me mad that it happened. and with tears i laid in bed lost in thought with a deep sadness in the heart.

I've felt so uninspired lately. hmm not good. I need to keep going, moving on, and all I need is some good motivation. There are days when I am fully motivated and other days when I am not and then I don't feel like doing nothing. I also remember I used to be really good at things when I was younger... well I'm still young haha but you know what I mean, when I was a kid, I would be very good at almost everything, now it seems like I fail all the time, never good at certain things, but then again I think, I can't expect myself to be perfect, to be successful right away right? I need to practice, and work hard to achieve. I guess sometimes I just want things to be simple and easy all the time but it doesn't work that way. I miss being a kid, wandering around, having fun and not having a care in the world, not having any worries about the future and so on. I sometimes wonder what my future will be like? what I really care about right now, is always being happy. Thats all I want to be because I love being happy. Its such a wonderful feeling, smiling, laughing and your heart dancing inside you in a good way.

What a beautiful day today!! too bad i spent it indoors doing homework. Now I just cant seem to wait for the summer and have a well deserved vacation in southern California. Even though I am planning on getting a summer job haha but I look forward to that so I wont be home all the time bored. Leo is gonna ask for part time at his job so him and I can have more time to see each other in the summertime, I just hope my work schedule wont be too busy and that it will still permit me to have some fun. I miss Leo so much 3: well anyways I havent had much fun here in S.F. because of school. I think I want to work at Nickolodean Animation Studios in the future.... need to start somewhere and i think Nick is the perfect place since their 3D characters arent so difficult to model but at the same time I know I will gain knowledge and experience and then maybe I can work at a bigger studio or something. :D I applied for their summer internship too and hopefully waiting for their response soon.

I finally got the shoes I been wanting. I really did fall in love with these heels since I first saw them at Urban Outfitters. I am not really a shoe lover but I just knew I had to get these... I needed @least one pair of high heels and these were just perfect for me. I like the style, and they are actually very comfortable to walk on which I am so glad. :D So yeah I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase. I don't regret getting them.

I collect photographs that seem a lot like me, of what I like, of my personality and so on. Ahh changing subject, i been having my eyes on these BDG suede pumps at Urban Outfitters

And I cant get my mind of them...I dont wear heels actually but I always wanted at least a pair of heels to have because they can come in handy sometimes. Lots of great reviews on the shoes too... hmm what do you all think? I'm also on the lookout for a tpewriter. I been wanting one so bad....one that will be perfect for me.

Seahorse creature

sculpted this small marquette for class. I did lot of improvements from my first sculpture, tried to make sure this one seem more like a believable creature that my first attempt. Still need to fix certain areas, such as back fin and tail based on today's critique i got from my teacher. I will then sculpt this digitally and apply what he told me to add/change. :D

Hello! It's been awhile, haha but here are some more Holgas for you! Yay it is Easter Day this Sunday! Anyone got plans? hmm Wondercon will be here in San Francisco this weekend. I went last year and it was fun. Its inspiring to see peoples work, very talented artists and comics and you also get free things, and get to play some games and cool stuff for sell such as the artists' work, tshirts, comics, toys etc. Two of my friends and I are going tomorrow. cant wait. Really need some fun and a relaxation from school. Its been rainy all week here! :O I guess it normal when spring just started, leaves and flowers need some water to grow healthy and beautiful for us :D

its spring break. didnt start of too well. but i managed to change that today. I went to Citylights Booksellers, spent 3 hours there... & bought a new book called 'The City of Dreaming books' by Walter Moers. I can't wait to read. Afterwards I stopped by for some chinese food, then frozen yogurt with mango and granola and then back home! :) The weather was wonderful today by the way. Oh and I played around with my digital camera and took photographs as shown above. ♥

Starbucks to be specific. With my roommate and both of us drinking our green tea frappuchinos. At our place it has been 4 days with no internet. I dont know why it has't been fixed. But also its a good thing. Us humans have been spending too much on the net, sitting and not doing much exercising or other activites that we used to do before internet even existed. :/ oh well. but at least now with no internet I been taking advantage of reading my books, studying a bit, cleaning and etc :) I hope my spring break goes by really slow. I mean really really slowwwww. I don't want to see it be over already and have to go to school again. gahhh i probably need 2 weeks worth of break! but unfortunately its only one -_- Oh more Holgas above for you to see :} This was when Leo came to visit San Francisco for the first time 2 weeks ago! and him and I got to explore the Golden Gate bridge and walk on it on a very windy day! Pictures above I took of Japantown, San Francisco. Wow I practically have taken photos with my Holga of all the locations there is to see here in this city! Just last week I finally got to see the Golden Gate bridge and walk on it! It was amazing but very cold and windy that day. But I enjoyed it very much. I took advantage to take photographs and I am anxious to see them :} Saturday night all my roommates and I went out to see Alice in Wonderland :D It was a good movie. I quite enjoyed it :) Anyone else seen it?

Hopefully I finally get to ride the Cable Car here in San Francisco tomorrow! I know I been living here almost 3 years and I have never been able to ride it :O But tomorrow Leo is visiting me! And I am taking him all around San Francisco for sightseeing. I really want to ride the Cable car to Fisherman's Wharf and from there go to the Golden Gate Bridge with him! I am soooo definitely taking my holga camera to take pictures of the GG bridge because I haven't been there either! :[ So tomorrow and Wednesday are the only days I will get a break from schoolwork, I really need it. I'm so happy he is coming here! Can't wait :)

Here they are! Well a few of many hehe. Can't show them all at once because then what am I going to blog about later on?! haha I am very happy with the results from this roll of film. I used Fine color 100 iso 35mm film. What I love about Holga is the different results I always get so it never gets boring! Sometimes I get light leaks, sometimes it gives me foggy pictures, a little blur, or double exposures, bright colors or soft colors plus the black corners that is always included. I am very satisfied with this camera :) and made a great decision in buying it 9 months ago.

Well the four holga photography above are my favorite of the whole set. I took these in the beginning of the year, January, when Leo and I went out to Santa Monica beach for lunch. I took both my digital and Holga for pictures and I just love the results of film! Even though it takes a while to see the results from film than from a digital, it is very worth it.

More Holgas tomorrow! ^_^
